CM Games revealed today that Into the Radius 2 will get a Steam Early Access release on July 24th. Just like its predecessor, this new title is a VR shooter that lets players immerse themselves in a surreal and mysterious area known as the Pechorsk Security Zone, full of deadly anomalies and nightmarish enemies to be dispatched with an arsenal of realistic weaponry.
Into the Radius 2 will launch as a PCVR title, and its US$39.99 Early Access price will remain the same once the game is fully released. One of the most interesting features this sequel offers over its predecessor is the introduction of two-player online co-op gameplay (which will be eventually expanded to four players according to the devs)
The original game eventually got a Meta Quest port, so it remains to be seen whether this sequel will stay a PCVR exclusive or not, but from the graphical improvements we can already see in the first teaser trailer, I’m having a hard time imagining Into the Radius 2 on the portable device. Time will tell, I guess!
